Deep Purplen ohella annamme tilaa myös muille laajaan DP-sukupuuhuun kuuluville bändeille ja projekteille, kuten Rainbow, Blackmore's Night, Whitesnake, Ian Gillan Band, Dio, Glenn Hughes, Joe Lynn Turner, Graham Bonnet, Doogie White ja uusimpana Over the Rainbow (OTR) sekä Jürgen Blackmore. Sukupuuhun katsomme kuuluviksi emobändin Deep Purplen lisäksi kaikkien Deep Purplessa soittaneiden muusikoiden muut bändit ja projektit. Eli oikeastaan voisi puhua Deep Purple –viidakosta. Emobändi Deep Purple suhtautuu meihin erittäin positiivisesti. Niinpä olemme päässeet tapaamaan heitä useamman kerran. Viime vuonna DP vieraili maassamme neljä kertaa ja kaikilla kerroilla muusikot vastaanottivat meidät, noin 10-15 jäsentä/kerta. Olemme myös tavanneet Glenn Hughesin, David Coverdalen, Dion, Joe Lynn Turnerin, Graham Bonnetin, Doogie Whiten ja Over the Rainbowin, missä Ritchie Blackmoren poika Jürgen Blackmore soittaa kitaraa (kaikki em. Jäsenistömme pitävät yhteyttä sähköpostilistamme (Google-groups) kautta. Lisäksi PSOF:lla on omat www-sivut (www.psof.fi) sekä Facebook-sivut (www.facebook.com/Perfect Strangers of Finland/PSOF Ry). Järjestämme myös erilaisia tapahtumia, kuten levykuunteluiltoja, DVD-sessioita, levyjulkkareita (Deep Purple, Heaven and Hell, Whitesnake, Ian Gillan, Doogie White) ja teemme levyistä arvostelut sekä suuren suosion saavuttaneet Purple Night -tapahtumat. Perfect Strangers of Finland PSOF ry was founded 1998 in Helsinki. It is the official Finnish Deep Purple appreciation society, approved by Deep Purple and their Management. Our aim is to make the music of Deep Purple and its former member’s or related musicians more known here in Finland. At the moment we have about 200 members, from 15 to 65 years old, and the number of members is growing. A number of municipalities have joined the couples or the whole family. We arrange meetings (M&G) with the DP-fans and everyone else interested in the many related artists and bands in the big Deep Purple-family tree. These include Blackmore’s Night, Ian Gillan Band, Dio, Glenn Hughes, Joe Lynn Turner, Graham Bonnet, Steve Morse Band, Roger Glover, John Lord, Doogie White, Tony Ashton, Tommy Bolin, HTP, Rainbow, Over the Rainbow OTR, JR Blackmore, Whitesnake, Black Sabbath, Dixie Dregs, Trapeze and so on and on and on. So, really could talk about Deep Purple-jungle. All in All; DEEP PURPLE is our main source of entertainment and joy. We also organize a variety of events, such as evenings listening to the albums, the DVD sessions, album publicize events (Deep Purple, Heaven and Hell, Whitesnake, Ian Gillan, Doogie White) and doing reviews of the albums. Purple Night events at Tavastia Club in Helsinki, have gained great popularity and now we are going to organize the fifth Purple Night. The “mother-band” Deep Purple take us very positively. So we have met them more than once. We have also met Glenn Hughes, David Coverdale, Dio, Joe Lynn Turner, Graham Bonnet, Doogie White and Over the Rainbow, in which Ritchie Blackmore’s son Jürgen Blackmore plays guitar (all these musicians are related in the big Deep Purple-family tree).
