📝 On Wednesday, 4 March, Abilis Foundation and the Ukrainian Institute of Education Development, which is a state institution under the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, signed a Memorandum of Cooperation.
👩🏫 The State Institution “Ukrainian Institute of Education Development” was created to support and develop a modern education system in Ukraine. The Institute develops the content and methodological foundation of education, prepares proposals for systemic reforms, provides methodological recommendations, and supports schools and teachers in implementing state education policy, including the New Ukrainian School reform. It also works on digital and professional tools for educators. Inclusion and accessibility are among the Institute’s key priorities in developing modern Ukrainian education.
🤝🏽 Abilis Foundation, as an expert in inclusion and the rights of persons with disabilities, will contribute its professional expertise and international connections to strengthen this work and support the Institute’s initiatives. We believe that this cooperation will increase attention to inclusive approaches in educational content and promote practical solutions for equal access to quality education.
🩷 The meeting took place in a warm and constructive atmosphere. We are confident that this marks the beginning of long-term and productive cooperation with a real impact on the development of inclusive education in Ukraine.
