ChangemakerXchange is a global community providing safe, supportive, fun, and empowering spaces for changemakers. We foster profound and lasting connections, nurture wellbeing, and enable peer-learning and meaningful collaborations. We envision a world where changemakers collectively create, sustain and scale positive change for people and planet.

For the 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐦𝐚𝐤𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐄𝐪𝐮𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐦𝐦𝐞, we are looking for organisations that bridge the wealth spectrum by working on bottom-up approaches to tackling inequality in its many forms.

Inequality is driven by 𝚒̲𝚗̲𝚝̲𝚎̲𝚛̲𝚌̲𝚘̲𝚗̲𝚗̲𝚎̲𝚌̲𝚝̲𝚎̲𝚍̲ 𝚜̲𝚢̲𝚜̲𝚝̲𝚎̲𝚖̲𝚜̲, which is why we support a 𝚍̲𝚒̲𝚟̲𝚎̲𝚛̲𝚜̲𝚎̲ 𝚛̲𝚊̲𝚗̲𝚐̲𝚎̲ 𝚘̲𝚏̲ 𝚊̲𝚙̲𝚙̲𝚛̲𝚘̲𝚊̲𝚌̲𝚑̲𝚎̲𝚜̲.

• 📞 Check-in calls with all participants held throughout the programme

• 💰 Access to collaboration funding for participants and

• 🤝 Lifelong participation in the ChangemakerXchange community.

We are looking for young changemakers who meet the following key criteria:

• 📍 𝐆𝐞𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐩𝐡𝐲: You must be from, living in, or having a direct impact on one of these regions:

𝘌𝘢𝘴𝘵 𝘈𝘧𝘳𝘪𝘤𝘢: Burundi 🇧🇮, Djibouti 🇩🇯, Eritrea 🇪🇷, Ethiopia 🇪🇹, Kenya 🇰🇪, Malawi 🇲🇼, Rwanda 🇷🇼, Somalia 🇸🇴, South Sudan 🇸🇸, Sudan 🇸🇩, Tanzania 🇹🇿, or Uganda 🇺🇬.

𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘎𝘶𝘭𝘧 𝘳𝘦𝘨𝘪𝘰𝘯: Bahrain 🇧🇭, Kuwait 🇰🇼, Oman 🇴🇲, Saudi Arabia 🇸🇦, UAE 🇦🇪, Qatar 🇶🇦, or Yemen 🇾🇪.

• 🎂 𝐀𝐠𝐞: You must be between 18–35 years old.

• 💼 𝐑𝐨𝐥𝐞: You are a founder, co-founder, or hold an influential decision-making position in an active social or environmental venture addressing inequality.

• 🗣️ 𝐋𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐮𝐚𝐠𝐞: You will need a good level of understanding to participate in English.

Key Criteria for the 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐦𝐚𝐤𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐡 2027programme!

We are on the lookout for young social innovators leading initiatives empowering young people to build skills, confidence, and agency.

Here's a breakdown of the key criteria to apply:

• 🌏 𝐂𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐲: You must currently live in and have impact in, Egypt 🇪🇬, Germany* 🇩🇪, Jordan 🇯🇴, Lebanon 🇱🇧, Morocco 🇲🇦, Palestine 🇵🇸, Switzerland 🇨🇭 or Tunisia 🇹🇳.

Supported by Drosos Foundation, the programme focuses on countries where the activities of both Drosos Foundation and ChangemakerXchange overlap, providing the best possible value, networks, and resources to the participants.

• 📕 𝐀𝐠𝐞: Applicants must be aged between 18 - 35 years.

• 📚 𝐑𝐨𝐥𝐞: You hold an influential position in an organisation which is up and running.

• 🗣️ 𝐋𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐮𝐚𝐠𝐞: A good level of understanding and the ability to express oneself in English is a key criteria.

• 📝 𝐀𝐩𝐩𝐥𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧: The application form must be fully completed. Only applications submitted before the deadline can be accepted.

When evaluating applications from organisations, we consider:

📖 𝐀 𝐜𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐫 𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐧𝐞𝐞𝐝 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐨𝐩𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐲: The initiative is rooted in a clear understanding of the specific need, challenge or opportunity it is trying to address.

🏗️ 𝐄𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐢𝐬𝐡𝐞𝐝 𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐬: The initiative should be well thought through, tested, and already have some traction.

💪 𝐈𝐦𝐩𝐚𝐜𝐭: The initiative should either show some proven impact already or clear potential for future impact.

📈 𝐆𝐫𝐨𝐰𝐭𝐡 𝐩𝐨𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐚𝐥: The initiative should be ambitious and have the potential to grow, be replicated, or have a wider influence.

💡 𝐈𝐧𝐧𝐨𝐯𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧: The initiative ideally shows some element of innovation for its specific context, meaning it is new, or applies new thinking or new elements to an existing approach.

🤝𝐏𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐩𝐥𝐞𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐟𝐢𝐭: We are seeking young social innovators with established, cross-sectoral initiatives who are eager to scale their impact and collaborate across borders.
