Through her Foresters Financial Community Grant, Kerri organizes kit-building days with other community partners and us several times each year, depending on community needs. This time, she made Summer Street Kits that include hats, water bottles, sunscreen, juice boxes, menstrual hygiene items, and essentials for protection against summer heat. 38 kits were made and will be distributed through the Oxford County Community Health Centre in Tillsonburg. Thank you, Kerri, for your dedication to our community and for inviting us to help build the kits!

Connection can make a meaningful difference at every stage of life💙

During Seniors Loneliness Awareness Week, GenWell is encouraging Canadians to recognize the important role we can all play in helping older adults feel seen, valued, included, and connected.

A conversation, a visit, a shared activity, or simply checking in can have a lasting impact on someone’s well-being.

Small moments of connection matter, and together, we can help ensure no one ages alone.

Last weekend, Toyota Motor Manufacturing Canada Inc., raised $1,640 for United Way Oxford at their annual Show and Shine Car Show! Thank you to everyone from TMMC for organizing the event, to all the volunteers who kept the day running smoothly, to the car owners who showed off the coolest cars, and, of course, to all the community members who stopped by!

We wanted to say a massive thank you to The Great Give Oxford! Bringing in a total of $92,549.00 with their very first Casino Royale Gala, we are absolutely honoured to have been the chosen recipient of their gala donation. Their donation directly reflects the hard work of the committee, the generosity of attendees, and what happens when you bring the community together. Thank you for showing your and supporting the vital services and programs that we fund through United Way Oxford.

What an incredible day for our 20th annual Day of Caring! Across Woodstock and Ingersoll, 82 volunteers completed 11 projects at 9 locations.

Bringing the community together to show they care is what Day of Caring is all about, and none of it would have been possible without our title sponsor, MW&CO Chartered Professional Accountants, as well as in-kind donations and discounts from: Easy Way, Total Rentals, Canadian Tire, Brooks and Co. Decorating Centre Ingersoll, and Schaus decorating.

To everyone who supported or volunteered: your generosity helped turn good intentions into real impact. We’re so grateful for your support and your commitment to our community!
