Today we're wearing teal. 💙

Teal Day is a chance to stand with survivors of sexual violence, raise awareness, and remind those who may be struggling that support is here.

If you're wearing teal today, share a photo below. Together, we can help create a community where survivors feel seen, believed, and supported.

Whether it's a shirt, a ribbon, or your favorite accessory, we'd love to see it!

On May 29, stand in solidarity with survivors of sexual violence and help raise awareness about an issue that affects individuals, families, and communities across New Brunswick and beyond. Teal Day is an opportunity to show support, challenge stigma, and foster conversations that promote understanding, healing, and prevention. Every visible act of support helps create safer, more compassionate communities where survivors are believed, supported, and empowered.

At Sanctuary House, we believe every woman deserves safety, support, and compassion. No one should have to face difficult moments alone. 💜

If you or someone you know needs support, we’re here.

We still cannot truly believe the amount that was raised from just one hour of 160 + women being in a room together.

This is proof that when women come together with purpose, generosity, and heart, incredible things can happen.

Thank you from the very bottom of our hearts. This truly means so much.

We are thrilled to announce that we presented Sanctuary House with a grand total of $35,000!!! Shortly after the presentation, we received an additional donation from a member who was unable to attend, bringing our official total to $35,100!!!

We are often asked why the final amount sometimes exceeds the total announced at our event. Our initial total is based on the number of ballots collected multiplied by $100. However, when we process the envelopes, we often find that members have generously contributed more than the requested amount. Whether this is due to a personal connection to the charity or other reasons, we are incredibly grateful for the extra support.

Please note that additional contributions are deeply appreciated; however, only your $100 donation is expected. Thank you for making such an incredible impact on our community!

Mark your calendars for our next event, November 5th at The Best Western in Woodstock.

See you then!

Thank you to Bill Hogan for his generous donation of 80 lbs of beef! It was completely unexpected. Thank you so much!

We are still trying to find the words after last night.

Last night, we were chosen as the recipient of $26,100 from 100+ Women Who Care River Valley and it’s hard to fully put into words what that means to us. In just one hour, our community came together in a way that has left us in complete awe. We’re still trying to process not only the generosity behind that number, but the incredible show of support from so many people who chose to stand with us.

To have been nominated alongside two other deeply deserving charities, The Andrew & Laura McCain Art Gallery (ALMAG) & We've Got Your Back River Valley made this moment even more humbling. We see the good work being done all around us, and we carry so much respect for those organizations. To be the ones selected feels both surreal and deeply meaningful.

This isn’t just a donation. It’s a reminder that what we do matters, that people believe in our mission, and that we’re not doing this work alone. Because of you, we can continue to provide support, care, and a safe place for those who need it most.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for showing up, for believing in us, and for making such a profound difference in one unforgettable hour. We are so incredibly grateful.

With heartfelt thanks,
Sanctuary House
