We help to remove barriers, advocate for & amplify youth voices in terms of equality, acceptance & encouragement for post-secondary and entering the workplace. Communities Building Youth Futures (CBYF) is a Canada-wide project created by Tamarack Institute funded through the Government of Canada. Oxford County, Ontario is one of 20 communities across Canada selected to participate in this initiati
ve. CBYF Oxford will explore needs and gaps for youth in Oxford County and work collaboratively with the community to build a Youth Collective Impact Strategy to achieve two main outcomes:
1. Improve youth outcomes (i.e. the transition from high school to employment, apprenticeships, and/or post-secondary). CBYF aims to achieve these outcomes by using the Collective Impact framework to move the needle and create sustainable, long-lasting change on these issues and opportunities. This is about creating system-level change by implementing projects that youth from our community identify they need to become and stay engaged in education and employment.
