Just a friendly reminder that our free technology workshop series begins tomorrow, starting with Microsoft Word. We always open with Word to help everyone build a strong foundation and digital confidence before moving on to Excel, Canva, and Intro to AI in the following sessions. Each workshop is designed to support you as you build practical digital skills, and everyone who completes a session will receive an official certificate to recognize their achievement.

Michele Sands brings more than 30 years of experience in employment services, coaching, facilitation, community development, and women’s empowerment. She's passionate about helping women recognize their strengths, possibilities, and potential, and Michele believes meaningful employment is about more than finding a job — it’s about confidence, belonging, growth, and creating a life that feels aligned and fulfilling.

Throughout her career, Michele has developed innovative programs, built strong community partnerships, supported youth and adults in navigating career transitions, and helped individuals move forward with greater clarity and confidence. Known for her engaging, authentic, and possibility-focused approach, she is deeply committed to creating safe, judgment-free spaces where women feel seen, supported, and empowered to say yes to new opportunities.

Now introducing WERCWear, a new community closet program tailored to help you find an outfit that makes you feel ready to take on the world! And the best part? You don’t need to be a registered WERC client to book an appointment. If you’re looking for a boost, a fresh outfit, or a little extra confidence, you’re welcome here. We’ll be accepting appointments Monday through Wednesday to style you!

P.S. We welcome donations from our community of gently used or new women’s office wear, business casual pieces, etc. Every piece helps another woman step forward with confidence.

We're lucky to have the opportunity to work with Social Planning Council Oxford to utilize their curriculum in these spending plan sessions. These appointments are designed to help you feel more confident, more informed, and more in control, no matter your income situation.
