Join us today for the final session of our Islamic History Month Series, featuring Dr. Abdullah Hakim Quick and Br. Hassam Munir.

Arrive early to review the excellent posters on display and to engage in the word challenge.
Doors open at 6:00 PM and the program will begin at 6:45 PM.

There will be a light dinner to close the evening off.

As October comes to an end, we reflect on Islamic Heritage Month.

Earlier this month, City buildings were illuminated in green. The colour green holds different meanings across Muslim communities and cultures. It has a longstanding presence in Islamic art, architecture and cultural traditions.

Islamic Heritage Month is an opportunity to celebrate the diversity of Muslim communities and recognize their contributions to London.

Did you know? Established in 1956, London Muslim Mosque was the first mosque in Ontario and the second in Canada.

While Islamic Heritage Month is coming to a close, it's a reminder to continue exploring Islamic history, learning about the diverse traditions within Muslim communities and discovering the many ways Muslim Londoners have helped shape our city.

Learning from one another helps build greater understanding and appreciation for the diversity that makes London such a special place to call home.
