Today, you would be 41. You are forever missed and never forgotten today, and everyday. We love you ❤️

Our dear, sweet, and beautiful Melissa. Today she would have been 40 years old.

This group was created to raise awareness of stroke, while fund raising, advocating and educating the importance of Heart & Stroke and the “BEFAST” motto. In doing so, we carry her memory very much alive to help make change, a difference in the lives of others, while giving back to our communities ~ We want to take this moment to thank you all for being a part of something incredibly special.

Melissa was the first to give so much of herself to help anyone. She was a mom, wife, friend, sister, daughter and niece and we miss her so much. She was also the best business savvy marketer and digitally connected to many parts of the world. She had a way of bringing everyone together for the greater good. We’d like to think she is still guiding us through this process. We have been successful because she taught us how it’s done. The committee members that make up Melissa’s MISSion-most of us were her business mentees ~ she was so much more.

May this post serve as a reminder to always be kind, give more and enjoy this beautiful life. It is so very precious. Happy Heavenly Birthday… love and missed, Miss🤍

So much goes into this event! Thank you to all members and volunteers for your work leading up to Christmas Angels! Not just the weeks before, but through out entire year❤️
To become involved, feel free to reach out.

The Christmas Angels Webathon is coming up on Sunday, December 7th. Even in the short time I have been involved with this event, it’s clear how much heart goes into this. There’s a small, dedicated team that keeps things moving, but it’s the community that truly makes the magic happen. None of this would be possible without volunteers stepping in to help families who need a little extra support during the holidays.

If you’ve ever thought about getting involved, they can still use volunteers. Whether it’s helping during the Webathon or pitching in behind the scenes, every person makes a difference. If you’d like to put your name forward, you can reach out to the Coordinator, Lianne Perry, at [email protected].

Every bit of support stays right here in West Hants and goes directly to families who need it. Sharing this post helps too. 💛🎄
