What an amazing March Break with Windsor Family Homes & Community Partnerships! 💙

We’re so proud of our very own Jennifer Gagnon — better known as the official ‘Pancake Lady’ 🥞 — who continues to show up and make every event extra special. This time, she was joined by her sister Michelle Gagnon, from Authenticom (SOILK), and together they brought incredible energy and support to the kids’ camp all week.

Tuesday morning kicked off with a delicious breakfast, with Rob & Sons pitching in alongside us to cook and serve the kids.

The fun didn’t stop there — we were thrilled to team up again with Rob & Sons to serve up tacos 🌮 and even help run archery activities for the kids! 🏹

We’re grateful to be part of such strong community partnerships and to work alongside organizations and people who care as much as we do about giving back. 🙏🏼

What an incredible day at the Wolfhead Chili Fest yesterday! 🌶️🔥

Feed the Need Windsor was proud to collect donations in support of Amherstburg Community Services — and thanks to this amazing community, we gathered over 400 food items and $180 in cash donations! 🥫

A huge thank you to Border City BBQ Masters for organizing such a fantastic chili competition — that delicious aroma kept everyone smiling all afternoon. 🔥

Events like this are a wonderful reminder of how strong and supportive our community truly is. ❤️💪

We’ll be collecting canned goods and donations in support of Amherstburg Community Services. 💛

💚 Celebrating a Wonderful 2025 💛

As we look back on an incredible year, our hearts are full of gratitude. None of this would be possible without the overwhelming generosity and support of our community — thank you for standing with us and helping us make a real difference.

Because of you, we raised $8,695, collected over 2,000 food items, and came together to prepare 1,024 meals that went directly to the Kids First Food Bank.

The highlight of the year was our largest collaborative effort yet — coming together to prepare over 1,000 holiday meals. Seeing our community unite around such an important event was truly inspiring. We’re excited to say this is just the beginning. Our hope is to make this an annual event and grow it even bigger next year!

This morning, the Border City BBQ Masters & Feed the Need Windsor crew delivered all 1,024 meals, 400 canned goods and $300 in donations to the Kids First Food Bank at Windsor Family Homes and Community Partnerships. 👏🏼🥫🍽️

What an absolutely incredible day! 🙌🏼❤️

Border City BBQ Masters and Feed the Need Windsor joined forces today to cook and prepare over 1,000 meals for this upcoming Christmas holiday for the Kids First Food Bank — and what a sight it was!

In addition, Jennifer Gagnon, braved the cold for the better part of the day and also collected over 400 items and $300! 🥫

Our amazing BBQ crew fired up 46 turkeys across 4 massive smokers, filling the air with some serious delicious aromas! Meanwhile, dozens of dedicated volunteers worked tirelessly to package all the dinners. 🔥🍽️

A huge shoutout to Derek and Greg from Medel’s Meats for organizing this amazing event. Your leadership and generosity made today possible.

This was a massive undertaking, and we couldn’t be more proud of what we accomplished together. Community, teamwork, and compassion — this is what the season is all about. 🎄✨

Thanks to our amazing community, we’ve officially surpassed our first fundraising goal of $5,000 — and we’re now on track to provide 750 Christmas meals for individuals and families in need. ❤️✨

Bring the family out on December 7th from 12-4 pm at Medel Brothers to enjoy hot cocoa and cookies fresh off the grill. All by donation to support The Kids First Food Bank!
