THE MUSIC IS COMING TO LIFE…

There’s a lot that goes into creating a beautiful evening of music — rehearsing, collaborating, fine-tuning, and bringing talented local performers together.

Here’s a little behind-the-scenes glimpse of Ken working with one of our performers as we prepare for Classic & Canadian Tributes.

Featuring the Manluk Strings, this special candlelit concert will take you from timeless classical masterpieces to beloved Canadian favourites, all surrounded by the warm glow of candlelight.

It’s more than a concert — it’s an evening created by local talent, for our community.

WELCOME TO MONSTER MANSION… IF YOU DARE!

Something sinister is lurking behind the doors of Monster Mansion… and before the night is over, someone will be dead.

Join us for a night of murder, mystery, monsters, and mayhem where YOU can become part of the story!

WANT TO BE PART OF THE ACTION?

We have 20 character spots available!

Choose a character, dress the part, mingle with the other suspects, uncover clues, make alliances, and try to solve the murder…

Or maybe you’ll be the one hiding the truth. 👀

PREFER TO WATCH?

We also have room for up to 28 spectators!

Spectators are absolutely encouraged to dress up and get into the Monster Mansion spirit!

Just remember: spectators don't have characters and must remain observers during the game — no giving players clues, hints, suggestions, or information! Sit back, watch the chaos unfold, and see if you can solve the murder from the sidelines.

🎟️ PLAYERS: $25
🎟️ SPECTATORS: $10

📅 Friday, October 16
⏰ 7:00 PM

So dust off your fangs, sharpen your detective skills, and prepare for a night where everyone is a suspect…

The question isn't whether someone will die.
It's whether YOU can figure out who did it.

Enter Monster Mansion… if you dare. 👻

THE CASE FOR THE THEATRE PROGRAM 🎭

In an age of QR codes, digital programs, and ever-tightening theatre budgets, it can be tempting to say goodbye to the printed show program.

But there’s something special about having a program in your hands.

A printed program doesn’t require you to pull out your phone, open your camera, scan a QR code, wait for a webpage to load, and then try to read tiny text while the person beside you is wondering why you’re on your phone.

It simply sits in your lap.

You can flip through it before the show, read about the performers, learn about the production, glance at it during intermission, and take it home afterward as a little memento of the experience.

And perhaps most importantly, it feels like part of going to the theatre.

We loved this thoughtful piece by Michael Gordon Shapiro, who makes a compelling case for keeping the humble theatre program alive in an increasingly digital world.

Because sometimes, the old-fashioned way really is the better way.
