Mother's Day is a beautiful yearly celebration of mothers around the world, but for many people, it may be one of the most difficult days on the calendar to face. Our hearts go out to everyone who might be hurting on this Mother's Day weekend.

Joy can coexist with grief or sorrow and laughter can share space with pain. There is nothing “wrong” with you if your days are still feeling tough—you’re not a burden, you’re human. Setting the expectation that some days will be hard and others will be easier, that you can hold struggle in one hand and joy in the other, can help you navigate loss and hardship.

This doesn't relate to Death Cafe, specifically, however, I have been participating in some studies for The Nonreligion in a Complex Future Project, and they have reached out in order to gain information on perspectives and experiences on death and dying.
