The Rowan McLeod Memorial Fund was honoured to support these young ladies. They came to us last fall and said they decided to put together a ball team that has either played with Rowan in sports or simply just loved her. They didn’t have a name yet and I offered up Rowan’s choice for her fun “beer” league name of Desboro Donkey’s. And it stuck. We sponsored their jerseys. Mid game the sky became pink ripples. I think Row was so happy to see so many of her friends laughing and playing together. 🩷🎀 LLRM

Today marks 11 months without Row🎀🩷and her friends Quinn will honour her sister by volunteering at Olivia Rourke’s Hoops for Hope 3 on 3 Basketball Tournament. Rowan met Liv probably in babygroup but then again in Grade 3 they were always friends. When I think about Liv. I think Basketball, an infectious laugh, incredible accents and joy. Today pop out and watch some basketball at SHHS or WD. 🩷🩵❤️🩷🧡
