A few weeks back we asked the community for helping replacing our fridge. It didn't take long (this post did) for our AWESOME local support to answer. A HUGE thank you to everyone who participated (not all are in this photo). The fridge is installed and being put to great use!

Exam Survival Kits on the way!
Big thanks to Brown's Guardian Pharmacy for supplying us with all the stuff needed for our EXAM SURVIVAL KITS. We will be building them this week. We'll let you all know when they are available. There will be about 100 for pick up only at the BigDoor. Keep an eye on our social media so you don't miss them!

We've had a few generous donations come in recently, so we are a little behind in posting, but this one happened yesterday. So grateful for the generous people in our town.

Here we go again, supporting a great cause. We're truly grateful for our volunteers, donors, and customers who make it all possible.

Did you know we have a NEW time to connect at the BigDoor? Come by Thursdays at 10am for a warm drink and snack and also an opportunity to access community resources.

Every Tuesday the BigDoor hosts a "Comfort Meal" for those needing a warm meal and warm conversation. People come not just for the nice food, but to enjoy care and community. It is also a great spot to access helpful resources. Tomorrow is our Easter meal and it will start at noon. Thank you to all who support the BigDoor! It is making a big difference in Walkerton.

Well... I guess it's Fog Day. Busses are canceled and so is our student cafe for today.

Buses are cancelled but, just for Exam season, the BigDoor's student cafe is open! Want to study while munching on a delicious shortbread cookie? Sipping on a coffee while fidgeting with Play-Doh from our Exam Survival Kits? We open at 10am :)
Kits are going quickly, so grab one while we still have 'em.
