Virden Pet Network A foster based pet rescue serving Virden and Southwest Manitoba. Adoptions, foster opportunities, low cost spay-neuter program.

Since 2008, Virden Pet Network has been helping homeless pets by providing veterinary care, spay-neuter, vaccinations, and any emergency treatment needed. Over the years, we have rescued and found homes for hundreds of pets, mainly cats and kittens, and helped lost and found pets get back home to their families. Our Low Cost Spay Neuter program was created in cooperation with the Virden Animal Hos

pital to greatly reduce the cost of spay-neuter to limited income pet owners. VPN also supports stray cat colonies in neighboring communities by providing resources like Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR), food, and winter shelters. Our rescue is a registered charity certified by the Canada Revenue Agency. As a foster-based rescue, 95 percent of donated funds go directly towards our mission of helping animals.

UPDATE: A rescue is taking the kittens into their care.

URGENT HELP NEEDED

The mother of these 4 newborns has rejected them and refuses to nurse.
They are located between Minnedosa and Rapid City.
Do you have a nursing mother cat who can feed them?
The rescuer is giving them KMR with a syringe but unsure if they're getting enough. So a mama cat would be preferable.

VPN has sprung this poor baby from the pound as nobody came to claim it. Currently settling into a warm and welcoming foster home. Will soon be vet checked and available for adoption.
