Thank you to the Valley Riders 4-H Club for allowing us to make sure you were fed and hydrated yesterday for your Achievement & Gymkhana. Great job to all your members/parents and horses for bearing the heat.

For the Gymkhana a few of our own members decided to put on their cowgirl attire and try out the fun activities that were planned. They all had a fun afternoon of experiencing what the horse club was about “Learn to Do By Doing”.

Also thank you to a couple members from other clubs that decided to help us in the canteen for the day. Your help was greatly appreciated.

We are teaming up with the Valley Riders 4-H Club in Elkhorn this weekend for their Achievement & Gymkhana. Come watch the Horse Club and grab a bite to eat at the canteen.

Our club achievement and fun gymkhana are this Saturday July 11th in Elkhorn 🍀Come out and enjoy some action and great food thanks to Virden Variety 4-H club!

Club Achievement Day 2026!

Thank you to our judges Amanda F, Amanda S, Marc, Lorna and Regan for taking the time to come and give our members feedback on their projects. Without volunteers like you we couldn’t make these events happen.

Great job to all the members for doing such a great job on your projects! Your leaders are proud of each and every one of you for the accomplishments you have done this season!

It was a hot one but we managed to pick up some garbage around the ball diamonds today before the Virden Minor Ball Club home tournament next weekend.

Great job kiddos for bearing the heat to get this accomplished! Diamonds are looking good.

If you are driving around the Virden Ball diamonds between 3-4 today please drive with caution our club is out picking up garbage!

Yesterday 7 of our members took on the Provincial 4-H Rally in Brandon. Each member got to pick 2 workshops to attend (string art, cookie decorating, tie dye, archery, science, engines, crafts), opening parade of clubs & a tug of war to finish off the day. Members got to see old friends, meet new ones and have a fun day of learning. Even the parents/leaders look in some of the events.

Thank you to all the volunteers, sponsors and 4-H Manitoba for putting on another successful Rally in the area.
