I'm so excited to kick off our Virden and Area Food Cupboard Pampered Chef Fundraiser this weekend!

The consultant challenged us to find our first 5 supporters before the party even begins!

Every order helps raise money for the Virden and Area Food Cupboard, and there's even a free gift when you spend $100.

Just some information for our hamper recipients. The way the days in the month of August fall the first hamper day will be August 13th with registration required by 4:00 p.m. on Monday August 10th. The second hamper day will be on August 27th with registration required by 4:00 p.m. on August 24th

Also we are requesting that hampers be picked up by 4:00 p.m. on hamper day. If you are working could you possibly make arrangements to have someone else pick up your hamper or let us know when you register that you will be late so other arrangements can be made.

Thank you to Virden Sunrise Credit Union staff for hosting a barbecue last Friday with the proceeds being donated to the Virden Food Cupboard. Thank you also to those who donated nonperishable food for the Food Cupboard and to all who attended and enjoyed the barbecue
