Just a reminder that Thursday, April 9th is the second Thursday in April and is Food Cupboard day. Requests for a hamper must be phoned in or sent by text by Monday April 6th no later than 4:00 p.m.

This is Food Cupboard week. Remember to receive a hamper you must register by 4;00 p.m. Monday February 9th. Late registrations are not accepted as it takes time to order bread and milk for the hampers and also to get the hampers packed.

We would ask that if you register for a hamper to please remember to come and pick it up.

We met up with Virden & Area Food Cupboard Chairperson, Myrna Bisson, and were very proud to present our cheque from our December test drive event! 🥰

Myrna, cheers to you and everyone who volunteers their time and resources to the Food Cupboard. We learned of the area they cover, and the number of families they feed a month - it is very impressive, and ALL off volunteer work 👏
