🚨 URGENT UPDATE: Today's Saved by the Bell is CANCELLED. 🔔

We are sorry to inform you that our final after-school hangout for this year, originally scheduled for today, June 23, will not be happening.

We've had a fantastic year! The program will return in the Fall. Look for dates and times soon.

We will miss you and can't wait to see you all back for more games and fun in the new school year! 🎮☀️

Today, we honor every father—those who are celebrating with us, those we carry in our hearts, the dads waiting and hoping, and the mentors who guide us without a title. Thank you for your love, patience, and endless support.

🌸 Our FINAL Stay & Play before summer break is TOMORROW! 🌸

Families with little ones ages 0–6 are invited to join us for our last Beaver County East Stay & Play of the season tomorrow, June 19, at Viking Alliance Church from 11 a.m. – noon!

Come out for one last morning of fun, connection, and community before we take a break for the summer months. We’ll have:
🎶 Heartwarming songs and story time
🎨 Fun crafts and activities
🧸 Active play for the little ones
🤝 Parent resources and family support

This program is completely free of charge and no pre-registration is required. Just drop in and help us close out the season with lots of smiles!

Please note that the Viking/Beaver FCSS office will be closed on Thursday, June 18.

Join us tomorrow, Wednesday, June 17th, for our final Crafting for Wellness session of the season at the Holden Community Hall. Whether you’re finishing up a project you’ve been working on, starting something new to keep you busy over the warmer months, or just wanting to pop in for a warm chat and a coffee, we would love to see you.

Let’s gather one last time to unwind, connect with neighbors, and celebrate our community!

Our Saved by the Bell after-school program is back tomorrow, Tuesday, June 16!

Give your kids a break from screens and a summer packed with adventure, creativity, and new friendships! Our Next Gen Leaders day camps are the perfect place for them to build confidence, practice teamwork, and dive into hands-on activities.

♻️ Bonus: We’re keeping things green this year with our awesome "Reuse, Reduce, Recycle" eco-friendly challenges!

🌟 Celebrating the Guiding Stars in Our Community! 🌟

Over the past few months, local Grade 4 students have been taking part in our Guiding Stars Mentorship Project, exploring the importance of healthy, supportive relationships and reflecting on the adults who help them learn, grow, and shine.

After thoughtful conversations and activities, each student selected a trusted mentor, someone who has made a positive impact in their life, and wrote them a heartfelt letter of gratitude. Those mentors were then invited to a special breakfast celebration last week, where students had the opportunity to share their appreciation and present them with a Guiding Star pin.

From teachers and coaches to volunteers, neighbours, and community members, the morning was a wonderful reminder that even small acts of encouragement can have a lasting impact on a young person's life.

Thank you to all of the mentors who help light the way for our youth, and to all the incredible community volunteers and service providers who make this project possible! ⭐
