Community Spotlight: Summer Skating Camp ☀️

We love supporting our local sports programs! We are happy to share that the Viking Skating Club is hosting its Summer Skating Camp from July 27–31 at the Viking Carena Complex!

If you are looking to keep your kids active and hitting the ice this summer, they have fantastic programs available for all skill levels:

CanSkate (Levels 1–5): Perfect for building a strong foundation.

Star 1–Gold: Advanced training to elevate their skills.

🗓️ Program Details & Pricing
Stage 1/2: 45 mins on ice ➡️ $100

Stage 3/4/5: 60 mins on ice / 30 mins off ice ➡️ $200

Star 1–Gold: 45 mins off ice / 2.5 hours on ice ➡️ $250

The camp will be led by Coach Vicki Holsworth (Provincial Coach Certified in Dance & Singles, Coach Assessor Certified/Trained).

A brand new month is almost here, and so is your next mid-week creative break! 🧶✨

Join us this coming Wednesday, June 3rd for our next Crafting for Wellness session at the Holden Community Hall. Whether you’re continuing a project from May, starting something completely fresh, or just want to pop in for a chat and a change of scenery, everyone is welcome.

It’s a beautifully low-pressure environment to recharge, connect with neighbors, and focus on your well-being.

Who is EmployAbilities?
They offer incredible, free employment support—specializing in helping adults and youth who face barriers to employment (including medical conditions, mental health challenges, permanent injuries, and disabilities). Their Employment Coaches work with you one-on-one to map out your strengths and help you land meaningful, long-term work. 💼🌱
