Mission to Many is an interdenominational non-profit Christian registered charity with objectives of helping to relieve the effects of poverty locally and throughout the world. Mission to Many has a permanent second hand store located in Viking, AB that sells new and gently used items with all proceeds going to overcoming poverty locally and internationally. Our store is open Tuesday’s and Thursda
y’s 10-4. We sponsor students in developing nations to further their education, provide household items to local families in need, and partake on regular international missions. In order to bring maximum benefit to those we serve, we partner with churches and charities that have similar goals. Together, we bring awareness, education and cultural experiences to our members as we walk alongside those we minister with. Some examples of how we’ve served our local communities are:
Donating funds to local food banks. Providing emergency houseware baskets for refugees and lose in difficult situations. Providing free hot chocolate, potluck meals, gathering events during the holidays, etc. Donating funds to coupon programs in local counties. Assisting in finding or providing furniture in emergent situations. Internationally, an engaged partnership with Food for the Hungry Canada offers us a unique opportunity to accomplish this as we walk alongside communities in the Nebaj region of Guatemala. We are looking forward to all God has planned for this partnership.
