Caregivers of youth ages 12–24 in Vanderhoof and the surrounding area are invited to join this free, online workshop.

Looking for ways to support your young person? Struggling to find ways to communicate effectively? Join Foundry Virtual BC in our upcoming Emotion-Focused Family Therapy (EFFT) workshop! This 2-day workshop will help caregivers learn skills to connect and support their loved one. Any caregiver of a youth aged 12-24 living in BC can join this virtual workshop.

Need help covering rent or bills after losing work or being unable to work? This one-hour virtual workshop will explore income support options available to young adults.

We will cover what each program provides, who may qualify, when to apply, and how to get started. This session is designed for youth — and those supporting youth — who want to better understand financial support programs and be prepared for challenging times, whether support is needed now or in the future.

Another successful YAC meeting yesterday!

We made plans for upcoming events, talked about future volunteer opportunities, handed out new swag, and shared capital and philanthropy updates for Foundry Vanderhoof—all while enjoying pizza and getting crafty. A pretty fun way to spend an hour on a Wednesday afternoon!

Our next meeting will be Wednesday, June 17th, with the craft du jour being… TIE DYE T-SHIRTS!

We loved seeing everyone at our Pro‑D Day showing of Inside Out on Friday, May 8! Huge thanks to the Grand Reo Theatre for hosting and to the Carrier Sekani Family Services Youth Services team for covering the snacks. Such a great way to celebrate National Child and Youth Mental Health Day.
