Artist registration is NOW OPEN for Paint The Foothills - Leighton Art Centre’s signature fall celebration of art + nature! 🍂

Our two-day plein air painting competition invites LAC members to paint outside, inspired by the stunning Alberta foothills. Artists can enter their works in the painting competition and win cash prizes!

THIS YEAR:
- The event will be Friday, Sept 25 & Saturday, Sept 26
- We will be open late on Friday, join us from 10 am to 9 pm
- Pre-registration is required, the first 50 registrants will get a swag bag!

Not a competitive painter? You’re still invited to join us and cast your vote for your favourite pieces and browse the wet paint sale. Bring your own supplies and enjoy a relaxed pace or bring the kids and a picnic and enjoy the property! Explore our beautiful nature trails, take in breathtaking views, and watch dozens of talented artists at work on the land.

Paint The Foothills is part of Come Paint Alberta, a southern Alberta plein air circuit celebrating creativity across the region. Whether you're painting, exploring, or simply soaking it all in, we can’t wait to see you there.

These bags are essential for safely storing sensitive components like memory modules, hard drives, and circuit boards—helping us extend the life of refurbished equipment and reduce e-waste.

We had the fun task of repairing some jousting equipment last week for one of the members of Society of Tilt & Lance Cavalry just in time for the High River Medieval Faire!
