Congratulations to the Class of 2026!

ACCN was proud to celebrate our Graduating High School seniors from our programs at this year’s Black Excellence ceremony, with a special focus on our graduating high school seniors as they prepare to take the next step in their educational journeys.

As these remarkable young people move on to post-secondary education, we celebrate their hard work, dedication, resilience, and accomplishments. The ceremony was an opportunity to recognize how far they have come and to celebrate the exciting futures ahead.

Through programs such as Umoja Robotics, Youth Advance and the Independent School Program, ACCN has supported Black youth and families across the GTA for nearly two decades through mentorship, education, STEM programming, and leadership development.

To our graduates: congratulations on this incredible achievement. We are proud of you and excited to see where your journey takes you next.

Thank you to the families, mentors, educators, partners, and community members who continue to support and celebrate the achievements of Black youth.

Across Canada, about one in four youth are experiencing harm online, substance use can be as high as 85% among more vulnerable youth populations, and cases of online exploitation have risen by over 300% in recent years. At the same time, Black youth are often navigating additional systemic barriers that can increase their exposure to these risks.
