Hillel Queen's

Hillel Queen's The Voice of Jewish Students at Queen's University Queen’s Hillel is the home of Jewish life at Queen's University.

Queen's Hillel seeks to provide an organizational focus for the Jewish community on campus through a variety of programs. Hillel provides a vehicle for Jewish students to interact socially; caters to religious Jewish needs; represents Jewish concerns on campus internationally; and works to ensure that there is a representative Jewish voice at Queen's University. Queen’s Hillel strives for a pluralistic environment in which Jews, regardless of denomination or religious belief, feel comfortable and included.

Last night, over 200 people came together to commemorate October 7 and honor the memory of those who lost their lives🕯️

Throughout the evening, we explored different perspectives and stories from October 7 through an interactive exhibition. The stations included spaces for prayer and reflection, stories of the hostages, a first aid kit assembly station highlighting the bravery of paramedics and first responders, the stories of Israeli small businesses affected by the war and much more.

We would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to all the organizations that collaborated with us to make this meaningful and unifying evening possible: StandWithUs Canada, TAMID, AVI, Chabad, Run for Their Lives Kingston and Hasbara Fellowships.

A special thank you to artist Hadassah Danit O’Reilly for creating an original artwork for the exhibition, which will now have a permanent home at Hillel House.

Most importantly, thank you to everyone who joined us to remember, reflect, and honor those who were murdered and those who fell on October 7.

May their memories forever be a blessing ❤️‍🩹🇮🇱
