Tibetan Children's Project- TCP བོད་ཕྲུག་ལས་འཆར་ཚོགས་པ།

TCP is a volunteer organization providing financial assistance for underprivileged Tibetan children's education in India, Nepal, Bhutan & Tibet as well.

TCP is a volunteer organization based in Toronto. It undertakes a TCP College Scholarship Project which provides financial assistance for underprivileged Tibetan refugee children's education in India, Nepal, Bhutan and in Tibet as well. In addition to its existing number of children under its care, TCP provides at least two new college scholarships each year. For the year 2022, TCPC is going to a

ward 15 new college scholarships to deserving Tibetan children in India, Nepal, Bhutan and in Tibet as well. The number of TCPC Children has been growing steadily since its scholarship inception in 2002. Today, TCPC has 47 Tibetan children under its full scholarship. VISION - "Tibetans Helping Tibetans"

TCPC genuinely aspires to provide meaningful education to
as many children as possible by supporting their furthers' studies in every possible fields.

We are delighted to welcome our two summer interns to the team!

Please join us in giving a warm welcome to Tenzin Kunsang Tsarong and Kalsang Choden, who will be working with us over the coming 2 months. We are excited to have their energy, enthusiasm, and fresh perspectives as they learn, grow, and contribute to our work.

Hiring 2 summer interns at TCP, Apply Now!

Tibetan Children's Project is a non-profit organization with the mission to empower the next generation of Tibetans through access to higher education and opportunities. We provide financial aid to post secondary Tibetan students in India, Nepal, Bhutan and Tibet.

Position: Community Organizer
Number of Positions: 2
Work type: Hybrid, 8 weeks, 35 hours/week
Pay: $17.60/hour
Start date: June 15, 2026

According to Canada Summer Jobs program, in order to be eligible, participants must:

- Be between 15-30 years of age, at the start of the funded position.
- Be a Canadian Citizen, permanent resident, or someone to whom Refugee Status has been granted/conferred.
- Have a valid SIN

We are looking for youth who are interested in community work and want to build their capacity as community organizers and leaders.

- strong writing skills in English. Tibetan language is an asset
