Jews for Jesus Canada

Jews for Jesus Canada Many Jewish people have still never heard that faith in Jesus is a viable and thriving expression of Jewish life, and we want to change that!

Formed as a nonprofit organization in 1973, established in Canada in 1981, we remain true to the original heart of our Jewish heritage, live a meaningful Jewish life today, and have abundant hope for the future. Jews for Jesus became the name of the 501(c)3 nonprofit organization founded in 1973, but it’s nothing new; Jewish people have been believing in Jesus since, well, Jesus! Just as we have j

oyfully passed down our rich heritage from generation to generation, we also pass down the hope our ancestors had in a coming Messiah—a hope we believe is realized in Jesus. After all, every person should have the opportunity to decide who the Messiah is for themselves—not let that decision be made for them by rabbis 2,000 years ago. That’s why we facilitate Jewish community, offer spiritual care, and provide local services in over a dozen cities around the world. The truth that we’ve discovered has changed our lives, given us newfound peace, and strengthened our sense of purpose as Jewish people. We’re 100% Jewish and 100% Christian, remaining true to the original heart of our Jewish faith, living meaningful Jewish lives today, and maintaining abundant hope for the future. In this way, we fulfill the mission God gave the Jewish people to bring His light to the nations. If Jesus really is the Messiah, there is nothing more Jewish than following him and sharing his message.

Many Jewish people see the New Testament as unfamiliar—or even opposed to them. But what if that’s not the full story?
The truth is, the New Testament is deeply Jewish—from its writers to its message.
One rabbi who once rejected it later discovered something unexpected… not hatred, but love, forgiveness, and life.

Aaron recently dialogued with an Orthodox Jewish man in Israel and had a candid conversation about faith, Jesus, the rabbis, Judaism, and the idea of the Messiah.

Our aim isn’t to “win” an argument — it’s to spark thoughtful dialogue and genuine understanding between people with different beliefs. We hope this discussion inspires you to seek truth, ask questions, and engage others with grace.

If this resonated with you, share your thoughts in the comments, and please keep the conversation respectful.

Here’s what’s incredible - these videos are from one of MANY events. This year alone, we have met with dozens of churches who care and want Jewish people to feel loved and protected, here in Toronto and across Canada.

If you’re a Gentile believer looking to get involved, Love Your Jewish Neighbor month is in June, and we would love to tell you how you can participate!

Have you heard the argument? That “the Church” is the new Israel, or in other words, people who believe in Jesus are now counted as God’s chosen people, and the promises God made to Abraham no longer really apply to his literal descendants.

Upon reflecting, Jeffrey noticed something in Christian terminology that may contribute a lot to the confusion. The problem being: it is not widely known where the term “church” actually came from.

Reap in accordance with kindness;
Break up your fallow ground,
For it is time to seek the Lord
Until He comes to rain righteousness on you."

We just wrapped up a very busy few weeks of sharing with Christians who care about Jewish people and are understanding the deeply Jewish roots of their Christian faith.
What's even more important to us to helping our own Jewish brothers and sisters to have the opportunity to experience the spiritual richness we have found in being 100% Jewish and 100% Christian.
We know you've heard its completely contradictory, but we have another perspective! Send us a DM to chat more about how believing in Yeshua is completely compatible with your Jewish-ness!

"Only old babushkas who couldn’t remember their names believed in God. My family was too smart for that. It’s not only that we didn’t embrace Christianity; we didn’t go to synagogue either. Which made us pretty normal—in a time and place where atheism was the mainstream, there was only one way to advance: education."

Read more in the link below how Irina's paradigm radically shifted after exploring a church when her family told her just to "be a good atheist".

My parents and my country both her me to be a good atheist, and I never wanted to defy them. But a single trip to church turned me into a rebel.
