Our crew of ladies knocked it out of the park last weekend with a vibrant new year of the horse themed birthday party. The February kids of Red Door Family Shelter and moms loved it. So fun! Can’t wait for the next one.

A BIG Wiggly thank YOU to Wiggle Room Toronto for facilitating a a very successful holiday toy drive for the second year in a row and for donating it all to our Candles & Cakes initiative at Red Door Family Shelter. It's that time of year again!

For fifteen years, Girls Gone Local has been bringing holiday joy to families who need it most. Every December, we collect Christmas wish lists from local children and caregivers, and with the help of generous community sponsors (YOU, our friends & neighbours), we turn those wishes into wrapped gifts under the tree. Our grassroots group is run entirely by volunteers, and every dollar goes towards making the season brighter for families in need.

This year, demand is higher than ever - and we're calling on our community to help us fulfill our promise. A donation of ANY size helps us shop for toys, winter clothing, household essentials, and festive treats.

It was a perfect summer afternoon during our June birthday party, while we celebrated all the June kids at the Red Door Family Shelter. An enormous Thank you to Sophia and her wonderful team of volunteers for putting together such a magical day of fun crafts, bubbles, yummy eats and a delicious cake by Cakes and Bakes Shop
