Fall for Dance North Festival returns October 15–25 with 11 days of free and ticketed programming, featuring bold new voices, international artists and boundary-pushing dance.

Among this year’s highlights are Tessa Virtue’s stage debut, Hubbard Street Dance Chicago, a powerful street-dance collaboration between Kwasi Obeng-Adjei and Compagnie KH, Alyssa Martin’s world premiere Landslide, and more.

Luminato Festival is proud to present Lyre Liar by Liam Francis Dance Company in partnership with Fall for Dance North. In this intimate one-man show, UK-based dancer Liam Francis explores the challenges of stepping into singular roles created by his dance heroes, and the journey of finding his own voice along the way.

Part dance portrait, part lecture-demonstration and part autobiography, Lyre Liar offers an intimate look at the artist behind the movement.

Experience Lyre Liar this October as part of Fall for Dance North.

Featuring photography by Danny Fitzpatrick and Lee Baxter.

From Luminato Festival to TIFF Lightbox.

This June, we were proud to present King Arthur’s Night (The Film) in association with Hot Docs Canadian International Documentary Festival. Now, John Bolton’s intimate documentary returns to the big screen with a Relaxed Screening at TIFF.

Inspired by Neworld Theatre’s King Arthur’s Night, which had its world premiere at Luminato Festival in 2017, the film follows an extraordinary company of artists living with and without Down syndrome as they create a medieval musical play.

Relaxed Screening: King Arthur’s Night
Sunday, August 9
