As governments rapidly embrace AI, we must ask ourselves the question: how must AI be regulated to protect democratic rights?

Jehan Mohamed, Andre Policzer, and Kimberely Moriarity, three McGill MPP’s from the Max Bell School researched this topic in the Bangladeshi context advised by Sonja Solomun from The Centre for Media, Technology and Democracy

This year’s monsoon brought some of the worst flooding many communities in southeastern Bangladesh had ever experienced. When we spoke with residents in Banshkhali, many told us the floodwaters reached knee height—the first time they had witnessed anything like it.

In partnership with It’s Humanity Foundation (IHF) and Globe Foods & Pharma, we mobilized alongside local volunteers to deliver emergency food, medicine, and essential relief supplies to affected communities across Chittagong, Banshkhali, and Bandarban.

Disasters may test the resilience of communities, but they also reveal the power of partnership. Thank you to every donor, volunteer, and partner who stood with us to bring relief where it was needed most.

Congratulations to Spain, our 2026 FIFA World Champions 🇪🇸

Over a billion people watched the final. Among Spain’s stars: , who became a UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador on the tournament’s opening day, saying that growing up, “all I had was a family, a ball, a park, and a dream.”

That’s exactly where our story began too.
sanjoy made history performing at the FIFA World Cup opening ceremony in Toronto — and while he was in the city, he sat down with us.

He spoke about why young people matter so much to him — a passion rooted in his upbringing in Love Lane, Chittagong, and the bond he shares with his mother.

That conversation inspired the KIN Khude Bishwakap 2026, brought to life beautifully by the KIN team at the Handball Ground, SUST, in Sanjoy’s birthplace of Sylhet.

Colorful jerseys. Proud families. Goals celebrated like the whole world was watching — because for those kids, it was.

The Khude Bishwakap was the first project of our Zero Gap Fund. And Sanjoy’s message to us remains our compass: let’s do everything we can for the next generation.

Every World Cup dream begins the same way: a kid, a ball, and a field.

This one’s for Sanjoy — and for every kid with a dream.

Swipe through. 📸
