Celebrating a Major Community Partnership: Bluebird Self Storage Whitby & 163rd IIT Scouts Group
Community spirit grows when local organizations and youth programs come together with a shared purpose. Today, we are proud to announce a meaningful new partnership between the 163rd IIT Scouts Group and Bluebird Self Storage at 1580 Victoria Street East, Whitby — our new official storage solution provider.
For years, our group’s equipment — tents, stoves, canopies, camping gear, event supplies, and activity materials — has been scattered across multiple homes, garages, and temporary spaces. As our programs expanded, so did the challenge of keeping everything organized, protected, and ready for our youth.This partnership changes everything.
Why This Partnership Is a Game‑Changer for Our ScoutsScouts Canada empowers over 42,000 youth nationwide, supported by 15,000 dedicated volunteers who help young people build confidence, resilience, leadership, and skills for life. Behind every camp, hike, badge, and service project is a mountain of gear that needs a proper home.
Thanks to Bluebird Self Storage, we now have exactly that.
With this dedicated storage space, we can:

🔹️Organize our tents, stoves, canopies, and supplies properly
🔹️Protect our equipment in a clean, climate‑controlled, modern facility
🔹️Plan more ambitious programs and community service projects
🔹️Spend more time mentoring youth instead of managing scattered gear
