Since 2002, Prostate Cancer Foundation Canada has provided free information kits to prostate cancer patients. This kit, known as the Reef Knot Kit, was named after the strongest knot one can tie when sailing, was meant to signify strength and unity in otherwise trying times. The Reef Knot Kit contained information about nutrition, exercise, returning to work following prostatectomy, and outlined resources available to prostate cancer patients nationwide. The kit, was typically available through ordering through our website, and would arrive as either in a folder or bag, containing booklets on the above mentioned topics.

After consulting with patients, our team, board, and stakeholders, PCFC is happy to announce that the Reef Knot Kit is now being rebranded as The Prostate Cancer Navigator Kit. Following with the times, the kit is now available as an online resource through QR codes, however physical copies are still available. Our physical copies now however have been condensed into a binder, which will serve to make things more organized and easier to access than traditional methods.
