We had an amazing time this year at our Second Annual Golf Classic, and that's all thanks to YOU! To everyone who was involved, as golfers, sponsors, volunteers, or otherwise, you made it possible for us to fully purchase a truck to help rescue food and bring it to the families who need it the most. Thank you so much!

If you were at the tournament this year and want to get involved again, or if you couldn't make it this time around, we'd love to see you next year! Keep an eye out for announcements regarding next year's event!

Volunteer Spotlight - Ken

"I have been a volunteer at the Storehouse for seven years. I have helped with warehouse work, forklift driving, replenishing for food bank, community meals with a team from my church, truck driving, and whatever is required to support staff and volunteers.

Outside of volunteering at the Storehouse I enjoy cycling, spending time with family, especially my grandchildren.

One thing I have found is that volunteering at the Storehouse has led to meeting many people from the community, whether from businesses, faith organizations or residents who share the common goal of supporting the most vulnerable in our community.

I don't have one specific memory, just a range of great experiences and friendships that have been developed. A few highlights would be the Christmas Hamper program and the Coldest Night of the Year."

Ken, we are so grateful for the way you show up to support the vulnerable in our community. Thank you!

The After The Bell program has been a huge success this summer! Thank you to the Surrey School District and Surrey Food Bank for including us in this awesome program. Being able to supply over 5,900 portions of snacks and food to students this summer has been such a blessing to the community.

Thank you for your support of After The Bell, and of all of our programs here at Storehouse!

Beginning September 2nd, our Wednesday evening Community Meals have been temporarily paused as we work through some changes to our program space.

We are actively exploring alternative ways to continue providing meals on Wednesday evenings, and we hope to resume service in a new format in the future.

We continue to serve meals on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays. Doors open at 5:45pm and dinner is served at 6pm. Everyone is welcome!

Thank you for your understanding and continued support as we work to ensure our Community Meals program can continue serving our community.
