Are you becoming more like Jesus? Maybe a bigger question, do you want to be like Jesus?

We aren’t perfect. Transformation is a process and we don’t have to wait until it’s all figured out before we can call ourselves Christian. But are making an effort? Are we partnering with God to become more and more like His Son?

If you’ve been feeling complacent, let this be your reminder that God wants to work in your heart. You just need to open yourself up and let Him.

Salvation isn’t something you have to earn. You don’t work for it or check off a list before you know you have it.

Salvation is given and secured through Jesus. He has us all the way.

When we believe in Him, trust in Him, and give ourselves to Him, He does all the heavy lifting. We can know our salvation is secure in who He is.

There will be days when your faith feels strong.

And there will be days when it doesn’t.

But your assurance doesn’t rest on how strong your grip is.

It rests on the One who never lets go.

Salvation has never been about how good we are or how hard we work. Our righteousness has only ever been dependent on God.

“My grip on God sometimes can be very weak, but God’s grip on me never is.”

You don’t need to be perfect to belong to Jesus. You don’t have to have everything figured out or all the answers lined up.

You need to believe in Him. Love Him. And live for Him.

Little by little, every day He changes you. He works in before you have it all together.

That’s the beauty of salvation.

Being ready for Jesus isn’t about being “good enough”.

It’s only Jesus. His death. His resurrection. His grace.

We don’t have to earn our place with God. Jesus has done the work for us already. He has done what we could never hope to do. All we are asked is to put our faith in Him.

Sometimes we can get so caught up in the details that we miss what Jesus actually promised us.

There are different views.
There are different interpretations.
There are different timelines.

But underneath it all is a simple truth - Jesus is sovereign and He’s coming again.

There’s a lot we can debate about when it comes to the end times. Sometimes the conversations are helpful. Sometimes they aren't.

But Scripture gives us some things that are clear no mater what:

Jesus is preparing a place.
Jesus promised He is coming again.
We don’t know when.
And we’re called to be ready.

Maybe we don’t need to have every piece of the puzzle figured out to have hope.

We know the One who holds the whole picture
