Community Bible Church Stittsville Know Jesus. Grow Together. Love Others. In 1992, Community Bible Church began with a youth group and 2 Adult Small groups. It was so nice to have a home.

We had a vision to communicate, “You matter to God”, to our community. Once we had a core group of people, we rented out space at A.Lorne Cassidy Elementary School in Stittsville. We unloaded all our sound and light equipment, drums, chairs, toys, bins and boxes and STUFF every Sunday morning!! The church grew, and we moved to another location, AY Jackson High school in Kanata. We packed and unpacked each week, only this time there were more rooms that we occupied for our Children’s Ministry, and there was more room for chairs to put out for our growing congregation. One winter day, God blessed us with an opportunity to purchase a building in Stittsville, which used to be a hardware store. On October 18th, 2009, we opened up our doors to our very OWN building! Packing and unpacking our church were no longer part of a Sunday morning! We could focus on reaching out to our community and beyond! We have partnered with a village in Kenya, named, Seje. We have had various events to help this village obtain clean water and better education for their village. There is still so much more that we can do! At Community Bible Church we want to inspire people to love and follow Jesus! Be a part of our story.

Heavenly Father,
Thank You for the gift of a new day. Before the noise begins and the schedule fills, help us to be still and remember that You are near.
Keep us from rushing past Your presence. As the morning light fills our homes, fill our hearts with Your peace. Shape our thoughts with Your truth, guide our steps with Your wisdom, and prepare us to love others with patience and grace.
May these quiet moments remind us that our worth is not found in what we accomplish today, but in being Your beloved children. Let us begin this day resting in Your goodness and walking in Your strength.
In Jesus' name, Amen.

God is not limited by what has happened before. He is able to make a way where we can't see one and bring something new out of places that feel dry or forgotten.
Pay attention to what God is doing. The new thing may already be beginning.

Sometimes the greatest obstacle isn't a lack of opportunity, but a lack of attention. Distraction, deception, and disobedience can quietly keep us from what God is inviting us into.

We become more like the people we surround ourselves with than we often realize. That's why who we worship with, walk with, and do life with matters.
Choose community that strengthens your faith, encourages your growth, and points you toward Jesus. See you at 9:30!!

Keeping in step with the Spirit isn't just about what happens on Sunday.
It's about inviting God into the ordinary moments of our everyday lives, in our conversations, decisions, attitudes, and relationships.
What do you think it looks like to keep in step with the Spirit today?
We'd love to hear your thoughts.

Heavenly Father,
Thank You for the seasons and rhythms You have woven into our lives. Teach us to embrace the pace You have given us, rather than constantly wishing for what comes next.
Give us wisdom to know when to work and when to rest, when to speak and when to be quiet, when to hold on and when to let go. Help us find You not only in the extraordinary moments, but in the ordinary rhythms of each day.
When life feels rushed, slow our hearts. When life feels still, teach us to trust. When seasons change, remind us that You remain faithful through them all.
May we learn to live with open hands, receiving each day as a gift and trusting You with whatever tomorrow brings.
In Jesus' name, Amen.
