💙 Thank You, East Point Elementary!

A big thank you to the grade 1's and grade 6's for welcoming FFNL to deliver our Different Kinds of Families presentation!

It was a true privilege to spend time with students today. We talked about a big, important topic: how families come in all different shapes and sizes. From exploring different kinds of families to learning how to uplift one another, the focus was showing kindness and respect to every family. 💛

💙 A huge thank you to a generous community member who recently donated beautiful quilts to our Backpacks of Comfort program!

Our program ensures that all children and youth entering care receive an age-appropriate backpack filled with items to support them during their transition. These lovely quilts bring warmth and comfort during a difficult time.

A special thank you also goes to the Children's Aid Foundation of Canada for their yearly donations of backpacks packed with essential supplies.
