Garden Valley Christmas Market Update

We had some lovely vendors apply for our Christmas Market. Many have paid but some have not and payment was due earlier this month.

I emailed a reminder. Then a second reminder. Then, I texted. I’ve received no response from some.

There are multiple small businesses on the waiting list. If you are one of these vendors who have not paid, you have until Aug 30th to pay for your table.

If it goes unpaid, then your offer for a space will be rescinded and is given to a vendor who’s been patiently waiting. I need to be fair to everyone.

I appreciate your understanding.

Keeping our grass looking good at Garden Valley Community Centre!

We have a great start on our art installation that we are creating at Garden Valley Community Centre. ‘Our Community Rocks’ was a public free-to-attend event that we held in July at the hall.

At this time, we would like to thank The Black Dirt Company for donating the rocks, to our dedicated volunteers for organizing and to our local budding artists who helped make our front entrance so much prettier .

It was a ‘rock-solid’ effort by all those involved.
