🌿 Join the Garden Valley Hall Board — We Need You 🌿

Garden Valley Hall is looking for two committed volunteers to join our board: Secretary and Maintenance Director. These roles are vital to keeping our hall running smoothly and strengthening our community.

Secretary — Key duties:
- Create agendas and take meeting minutes
- Maintain and update the member list and light admin tasks
- Help with basic correspondence and record keeping
Time commitment: Monthly meetings plus a few hours of admin each month

Maintenance Director — Key duties:
- Carry out minor repairs and routine upkeep at the hall
- Coordinate contractors for larger jobs and oversee maintenance projects
- Help plan seasonal maintenance and safety checks
Time commitment: Flexible; typically project-based with occasional site visits

- Meet neighbours and build local connections
- Gain experience in governance, administration, and facilities management

The kitchen area is looking incredible! A huge thank you to ServiceMaster Clean for the fantastic job cleaning and polishing the floors in our hall’s kitchen.

Spring has been a busy season at the hall!

We’re excited to share that several important repairs and upgrades have been completed, helping keep our space safe, welcoming, and well‑maintained for everyone.
