🎉 The totals are in, and we are thrilled to share the results of the 2026 Tri-Region Hunger Day, Presented by North American Construction Group! 🎉
Thanks to the incredible generosity of our sponsors, donors, volunteers, community partners, and supporters, we achieved an amazing outcome:
🥫 10,735 lbs of non-perishable food collected
💰 $53,720.17 in monetary donations and sponsorships raised
A heartfelt thank you to all the sponsors and stores that supported this year's event. We would also like to give special recognition to SYSCO for their exceptionally generous non-perishable food donation and to RBC for participating in the event and organizing a food collection drive.
We are especially grateful to a generous community member who is passionate about our mission and contributed a $10,000 matching donation, helping us make an even greater impact for local families facing food insecurity.
Not only did we reach our goals, we surpassed last year's totals, demonstrating the power of a community that comes together to support its neighbours.
Every pound of food and every dollar donated will help ensure that individuals and families in our region have access to the food and support they need.
