Congratulations to all of our swimmers who have qualified for Swim Alberta Summer Festival 2026!

This weekend, June 12–14, our Pirates are heading to Grande Prairie to compete at this provincial level meet for swimmers aged 12 and under.

Congratulations to Zia!

At just 9 years old, Zia achieved the Swim Alberta 10 & Under Youth Recognition Time Standard in the 100m Butterfly at the SilverRays Invitational, touching the wall in an impressive 1:28.62.

Achieving this standard is a significant milestone, recognizing swimmers whose performances rank among the best in Alberta for their age group.

As a result of this achievement, Zia will be recognized by Swim Alberta at the 2026 Summer Festival in Grande Prairie, Alberta, celebrating her outstanding accomplishment alongside other top young swimmers from across the province.

We are incredibly proud of Zia and all the hard work and dedication that led to this moment. Congratulations on reaching this milestone.

🎓 Congratulations, Addison Gill, Class of 2026! 🎓

Since 2022, Addison has proudly been a Pirate, dedicating herself to the sport of swimming and inspiring those around her with her passion, kindness, and willingness to help others.

This fall, she will be attending the University of Alberta to study Political Science. We are so proud of all she has accomplished and excited to see what the future holds.

27 Pirates travelled to Calgary for the KSC LC Invitational (May 1–3) at the newly renovated MNP Community & Sport Centre.

Solid weekend of long-course racing. Our Pirates dropped an incredible amount of time across their swims, and it was really fun watching that progress show up in the pool.

Big shoutout to Olivia and Méabh for hitting Festival qualifying standards 👏

Relays were strong, and we even had a Pirate swim-off, which always adds a bit of excitement to the meet.

What an incredible weekend at Best of the West for Astra, Sarah, Lucy, and Bruce.

Just making it to this elite meet is an accomplishment in itself, and each of them showed exactly why they belonged there with strong swims, growth, and valuable experience.

It was also great to see how well they support each other throughout the meet behind the blocks, in the stands, and everywhere in between. That team spirit made the weekend even more special.

So proud of our athletes and all their hard work. Go Pirates! 🏴‍☠️

Congratulations to Astra, Sarah, Lucy, and Bruce for earning their spot at the Best Of The West Fest 2026 in Winnipeg!

From April 23–26, our athletes will take on the fastest in Western Canada at the Pan Am Pool. This elite 4 day meet is a key bridge to the national and international stage, a huge opportunity to race toward that next level!

We are so proud of the work you’ve put in to reach this milestone. We also want to recognize the incredible support and guidance from Coach Ryan in helping them get to this stage of their swimming career.

Pirates had 13 swimmers (11 qualified + 2 relay additions) at Winter Champs this past weekend. Four jam-packed days of racing, energy, and determination. This group showed up ready to compete and delivered some incredible results.

🏴‍☠️🍬 Sweet Success at the Edson Orca Candy Crush! 🍬🏴‍☠️

18 Parkland Pirates attended the Orca Candy Crush meet this weekend and made quite the splash!

Our swimmers brought home:
🥇 53 medals
🏅 42 Top 10 times
💥 79 personal bests

And the excitement didn’t stop there! Our relays were on fire:

🥇 Boys 10 & Under 4x25 Free Relay – Gold
