THAT’S A WRAP!

What a fantastic way to close out the 2026 Summer Sounds Concert Series!

A huge thank you to The Timebenders for bringing their incredible energy, music, costumes and fun to Beacon Park. You had the crowd singing, dancing and smiling from beginning to end. It was the perfect grand finale to an amazing summer!

Thank you as well to everyone who joined us throughout the season. Whether you attended one concert or all eight, your enthusiasm helped make every Sunday special.

Of course, Summer Sounds would not be possible without our generous sponsors, dedicated volunteers, talented performers and everyone who worked behind the scenes to bring these concerts to our community. We are incredibly grateful for your support.

SUMMER SOUNDS GRAND FINALE!

How did we get here already?

After seven fantastic Sundays of music, dancing, sunshine and some pretty incredible crowds, Summer Sounds 2026 is heading into its GRAND FINALE!

And we’re going out with a party.

THE TIMEBENDERS are taking over Beacon Park this Sunday!

The Timebenders don’t just play the hits - they take you on a musical trip through the decades. From the classics that started it all to the songs that filled dance floors and defined generations, this band knows how to put on a show.

If you've seen The Timebenders before, you already know.

If you haven't... this is your chance!

Now THAT was some Fleetwood Magic!

A huge thank you to Fleetwood Magic for an incredible afternoon at Beacon Park on Sunday!

From the music and soaring vocals to the costumes and stage presence, you brought the sounds and spirit of Fleetwood Mac to the Saanich Peninsula and gave us another Summer Sounds performance to remember. What a show!

And once again, a massive THANK YOU to our Beacon Park audience! You came out in force and helped create the energy that makes these Sunday afternoons so special. Seeing the park filled with people enjoying live music together is what Summer Sounds is all about.

Of course, none of these concerts happen without our Summer Sounds sponsors and volunteers. Thank you for continuing to make this free community concert series possible.

And suddenly...we're down to ONE!

This Sunday marks the final Summer Sounds concert of 2026. We'll be back in Beacon Park for one more afternoon of live music, and we'd love to fill the park one last time!

Summer Sounds Week 7 — and this one will be MAGIC!

We’re heading into the home stretch of Summer Sounds 2026, but we’re certainly not slowing down!

Get ready to be transported on a retro musical journey with Fleetwood Magic, The Authentic Tribute to Fleetwood Mac! Performing with soaring vocals, vintage costumes, exacting sound and enchanting on-stage personas, you’ll experience all the hits including “Dreams,” “Go Your Own Way,” “Rhiannon,” “You Make Loving Fun,” “The Chain,” “Landslide” and many more!
Starring Diane Warren, the founder of Fleetwood Magic, in the role of Stevie Nicks, singing and shaking the tambourine alongside an all-star band!

Fleetwood Mac, the British blues band that evolved into a global pop-rock phenomenon, famous for line-up changes, personal drama and monumental hits like the 1977 album Rumours, was one of the most iconic and top-selling bands of all time! Their indelible songs helped define the 1970s and classic rock music.

Whether you’re a lifelong fan of the legendary Fleetwood Mac, or discovering their music for the first time, Fleetwood Magic promises a nostalgic and electric musical experience!

What a Sunday at Summer Sounds!

A huge thank you to The Haven for bringing the party to Beacon Park last Sunday!

It’s always special to welcome local talent to the Summer Sounds stage, and The Haven certainly delivered. Great music, great energy and a whole lot of fun made for another fantastic Sunday afternoon in Sidney.

And, of course, an enormous THANK YOU to the Beacon Park audience! Week after week you continue to show up, fill the park and make Summer Sounds the community celebration that it is. We couldn't do it without you!

Webster's Dictionary defines a haven as "a place of safety" or "a place offering favorable opportunities or conditions."

The Peninsula Celebrations Society has a slightly different definition: "Time for a party!"

Summer Sounds Week 6 is almost here, and we're ready to welcome Sidney's own The Haven to the Beacon Park stage!

Known for their high-energy live shows, The Haven has been entertaining audiences across the Saanich Peninsula and Greater Victoria with a crowd-pleasing mix of rock classics, contemporary favourites, and original music that blends rock, country, and blues into a sound that's uniquely their own.

Whether it's an intimate community gathering or a packed festival stage, The Haven always brings the energy—and this Sunday promises to be no exception.

Summer Sounds Week 5 was another fantastic afternoon in Beacon Park!

Summer Sounds Week 4 was another fantastic afternoon of live music!

A very special thank you to The Sutcliffes, who not only dazzled us with their incredible Beatles classics but also delivered a stage show every bit as entertaining as the music. What a talented group of performers!

And a huge thank you to our amazing Beacon Park audience. The weather may have been a little damp at times, but it certainly didn't dampen anyone's enthusiasm. Once again, you came out in great numbers and helped create another unforgettable Summer Sounds afternoon.

Week after week, these Sunday concerts remind us what a special community we have here on the Peninsula.
