Canada Day Family Fun Fair - ENTERTAINMENT ANNOUNCEMENTS!

Get ready for an exciting lineup of live entertainment, music, performances, and family fun at the Canada Day Family Fun Fair! 🍁🎶 🤡

12:15 pm – Welcome & Opening Remarks

12:30 pm – 1:45 pm - The Haven is a Sidney-based band specializing in rock and contemporary music. With a wide range of influences and a passion for creating fun and memorable performances, we bring the energy to every venue we play. We are excited to have The Haven back again this year!

1:45 pm – 2:30 pm - Tickles and Yowza - These two clowns raised a family of buffoons right here in Sidney! They’re ready to tickle your funny bone with comedy, magic, music, and plenty of merriment. Bring your laughter, your love of fun, and get ready for a blast with these two merry makers!

2:30 pm – 2:40 pm - Dress up in your red & whites and join our Canada Day Costume Contest - with great prizes and fun categories for kids, adults, and even pets!

2:40 pm – 4:00 pm - Wreckage is a group of 16-year-old musicians from the Saanich Peninsula who have been playing together for the past four years. Blending 90s rock with a touch of country, their sound is raw, energetic, and laid-back all at once. Mixing originals with reimagined covers, Wreckage brings their own style to every performance, focusing on good vibes, connection, and having fun making music together.

Just 1 month to go until Canada Day!

Why not celebrate with the Peninsula Celebrations Society? We're planning an incredible day of community spirit, entertainment, and family fun, all kicking off with our annual Canada Day Parade!

Beacon Avenue will be alive with Canada Day pride starting at 11:30 AM. Come down early and grab a great viewing spot along the parade route for this fantastic community tradition.

This year marks the 100th anniversary of The Royal Canadian Legion. We're proud to welcome members of our own Branch 37, along with the 676 Kittyhawk Squadron Cadets. Be sure to give them a big cheer as they pass by!

Free Secure Bike Valet
A free, secure bike valet service will be available at Iroquois Park from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Drop off your bikes, scooters, strollers, and more, then enjoy the festivities worry-free.

After the parade, keep the celebration going at our Canada Day Family Fun Fair in Iroquois Park. An action-packed afternoon awaits with live music, games, food vendors, family activities, and much more. Stay tuned for additional announcements and event highlights!

⏳ Canada Day Family Fun Fair - JUST OVER 5 WEEKS TO GO! ⏳

Looking for a fun and affordable way to celebrate Canada Day with the family? Join us immediately following the Canada Day Parade in Iroquois Park. The Canada Day Family Fun Fair has something for everyone - games, Canada Day costume contest, entertainment, community groups, food, activities, and plenty of smiles. Bring your lawn chairs, bring your friends, and bring your Canada Day spirit!

New this year - free bike valet – park once for the Parade & Family Fun Fair!

A giant thanks to everyone that came out to enjoy the Peninsula Celebrations Society Easter Egg Hunt. We had quite the turnout, quite the marvelous weather and quite a haul of chocolates. A big thank you to all of our sponsors but a special shout out to Tedford Garage Doors and Blackline Marine.
