Some things in Sidney never go out of style. This one happens to be fluffy and glazed. 🍩

Established in 1903, the iconic Sidney Bakery has served up fresh-baked favourites in the heart of town since the beginning. From donuts and cakes to fresh bread, cookies, pastries and sausage rolls, there’s a reason generations of locals have made this place a tradition.

And if you’re stopping by this fall, we recommend the pumpkin spice donut. You can thank us now. 🎃

A little spooky fun has arrived at the Sidney Information Centre! 👻🎃

Stop by 2281 Beacon Avenue to pick up a Halloween colouring sheet and complimentary crayons, take it home and get creative, then bring your masterpiece back to receive a little treat and some custom Sidney Halloween stickers!

A fun little Halloween activity for our smallest Sidney visitors and locals, running now through October 31! 🧡

Treat Street prep is officially underway… and it takes 30,800 pieces of candy to make the magic happen. 🍬🎃

Step behind the real-life scenes as the Explore Sidney team processes, sorts and organizes a truly unreasonable amount of candy for Treat Street, Greater Victoria’s biggest trick-or-treating event!

Treat Street is proudly put on in partnership with the Peninsula Celebrations Society, who now get the very fun job of moving allllll 30,800 pieces of candy onto Beacon Avenue for Halloween night. Peninsula Celebrations Society

Honourable mention to Jared VanderMeer who did not move from his computer the entire time because, and I quote, “this is not my department,” and to Emily Salvador-Hall who valiantly threw out her back in the process.
