Mark your calendars! This Sunday, June 21st, we are celebrating all things skateboarding with a massive pop-up skatepark right in the heart of Sun Peaks! Whether you're a seasoned pro or just starting out, grab your board and come roll with us. ALL WHEELS WELCOME!

📅 When: June 21st | 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM
📍 Where: Centre Stage, Sun Peaks
👥 Who: All wheels welcome! (Skateboards, scooters, rollerblades—bring 'em all!)

Art Meets Action! Ink for the Park!

We are feeling incredibly blessed by the outpouring of support from our neighbours and the wider community. It’s amazing to see so many people rallying together to get the Sun Peaks Skatepark up and running!

A massive shout-out to the incredible crew behind the Kamloops Tattoo Show for stepping up in a big way. They will be hosting a 50/50 raffle during the show, with all proceeds being donated directly to our park foundation!

We are thrilled to unveil the 3rd and 4th official renderings for the Sun Peaks Community Skatepark!

As these designs evolve, you can really start to see how the flow of the park is coming together. These new views highlight some of the specific technical features and the transition zones we discussed in our public consult with This isn't just a slab of concrete; it’s a custom-built space designed to challenge our local riders while remaining accessible for those just starting out.

The moment you’ve been waiting for is finally here! We are beyond stoked to share the first virtual look at the official 3D renderings for the Sun Peaks Skate Park, designed by the absolute pros at Radius Skateparks! The renderings were presented at the council meeting last week and were well received by those in attendance.

This is more than just concrete; it’s the future of our community’s skate scene.

More to Come: This is just the beginning! We’ll be dropping different angles and views of the design all week long, so keep your eyes peeled.

Work in Progress: Please note that the design is subject to changes based on final engineering requirements.

The Mission Continues: We are still actively seeking sponsors to help bring this vision to life. Additionally, we’ll be hitting the ground running with grant applications as soon as the window opens!

A massive thank you to and for their incredible on-going support of the Sun Peaks Skate Park Foundation.

Thanks to all the participants! The energy in this year’s Top to Bottoms Race was spectacular!

A total of $2,084 was raised for our impending skate park! This contribution brings us one step closer to getting wheels on the ground and creating a world-class space for youth, our broader community and visitors alike.

It’s partnerships like these that keep the momentum moving forward. We are so grateful to live and work in a community that values recreation and investment in our future.

See you all on the trails (and soon, on the concrete)!
