🩺 November is Eczema Awareness Month!

Did you know that eczema is one of the most common skin conditions in children? It can cause dry, itchy, inflamed skin and may affect sleep, comfort, and everyday activities.

Eczema is especially common in infants and young children. If you have concerns about your child’s skin, speak with a healthcare professional about treatment options and ways to manage symptoms.

Raising awareness helps families find information, support, and care.

🎃 Happy Halloween from all of us at SCA!

Whether your family goes all out for Halloween or keeps things simple, we hope the evening feels fun and comfortable for everyone.

A few safety reminders:
• Choose costumes that allow children to see and move comfortably.
• Add reflective material or carry a flashlight to help children be seen.
• Stay on well-lit routes and cross streets carefully.
• Children should be supervised according to their age and comfort level.
• Check treats before eating them, especially for allergies and choking hazards.

Our November Little's Calendar is HERE! It's full of FREE fun activities for you and your little ones ages 0 - 6. 🎉

Don't miss our Shuswap Warm Kids Distribution days on Fri., Nov. 6th from Noon - 4PM and Sat., Nov. 7th from 10AM - 2PM - if you are in need of warm outdoor winter clothing for your children or youth.

We are also hosting a FREE Diaper Bazaar on Wed., Nov. 18th from Noon - 1PM, if you are in need of essentials for your infant/toddler.
