Valley Action Abilities Valley Action Abilities is a community organization for Adults with Disabilities placed in Rosthern S SARCAN, a recycling centre, is on the same property.

Valley Action Abilities (VAA) is a community-based organization that works with adults with disabilities. They oversee three group homes in Rosthern, SK, and also run a day centre for adults to participate in meaningful work.

This week, we proudly celebrate Staff Appreciation Week at Valley Action Abilities! ❤️

We are incredibly grateful for the amazing team members who make a difference every single day across all of our programs and services.

From our hardworking SARCAN staff serving the public with care and efficiency, to the nurturing teams at Little Ducklings and Learning Tree Childcare Centres helping children learn and grow, to the compassionate staff supporting adults with intellectual disabilities in our day programs and group homes — your dedication, patience, kindness, and heart do not go unnoticed.

Thank you for the countless ways you support our community, uplift others, and create welcoming spaces where people feel valued, respected, and cared for.

Valley Action Abilities is stronger because of each and every one of you. We appreciate all that you do today and every day! 💙

The children at Learning Tree & Little Ducklings are excited to host our upcoming Bake Sale on May 27, 2026 at 10:00 AM in front of Learning Tree Childcare AND Little Ducklings Childcare Centres!

We’ll have:
🍪 Homemade baking & sweet treats
🌱 Plants, tomatoes, peppers & more
💛 Smiles, community support, and fun!

All proceeds will go toward future activities and excursions for the children. Every purchase helps create special memories and experiences for our little ones!

Valley Action day program enjoyed a fantastic afternoon of karaoke fun with RJC High School. Not only were the snacks amazing, but the voices were too! We had so much fun and we are so thankful to have had the opportunity to enjoy an afternoon together. Everyone can't wait to do it again!

The Government of Saskatchewan has proclaimed May 10 to 16, 2026, as “Disability Service Professionals Week” (DSP Week) in Saskatchewan.

DSP Week is meant to recognize the dedication of service providers who work to ensure that people experiencing disability are valued, supported, and included members of their communities.

Thank you to Megan Patterson MLA Moose Jaw Wakamow, for the introductions of a SARC representative and DSPs today in session.
