Feed with Hope Fundraiser – August 15th ❤️

We’re excited to be part of the MCC Thrift Clothes Basket's 50th Anniversary Celebration in Rosthern on Saturday, August 15th!

Our small team will be doing a fundraiser and serving rollkuchen and watermelon starting at 11:00 a.m., while quantities last. 🍉

Feed with Hope is a non-profit organization. We serve the less fortunate in Prince Albert every second Sunday, and the funds raised will help us with gas, food, basic supplies. We are also working toward getting a bus which would be a great help during the winter season and would allow us to continue our outreach safely and consistently.

🕙 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.( Saturday)
🍉 Rollkuchen & watermelon: 11:00 a.m.

🎉 10 Days Until Our 50th Anniversary Event! 🎉

The MCC Clothes Basket is turning 50 YEARS OLD this year!! You are invited to celebrate with us on Saturday, August 15th, 2026 at the MCC Clothes Basket- 2007 6th Street in Rosthern, Saskatchewan! 🌾

We will be open from 10:00am to 4:00pm, our regular Saturday store hours. Throughout the day we will have thrifty sales, door prizes to enter, and games with prizes for the children! 🙌 We also have a few special events planned for the day:

11:00am- Rollkuchen and watermelon for sale while quantities last! All proceeds from the food will go towards Feed with Hope, a local non-profit organization that helps provide food and clothing to the less fortunate in Prince Albert ❤️
1:00pm- Live Music 🎶
1:30pm- Ceremony with honourary speakers 🎤
2:00pm- Cake serving and live music 🍰

We are delighted to celebrate the last 50 years of our non-profit MCC thrift store that has served Rosthern and the local community! As we have partnered with Feed with Hope to give clothing, footwear, and water bottles, we are also excited to support their ministry further at this event.

Yesterday was a wonderful day.
We never expected such a big turnout. In just the first 30 minutes, we had already handed out more than 70 hot dogs. By the end of the day, we had served 114 hot dogs. Even while we were packing up, people were still arriving.
Every piece of clothing and every pair of shoes was taken.
A heartfelt thank you to our amazing partner, MCC Rosthern Clothes Basket, for blessing so many people again this summer.
A very special thank you to Drashti and Yukti for generously donating buns and water and for serving alongside us. We are so grateful to have you as part of Feed with Hope Team.
