The FATTEST Pool Party in Sask is BACK! 🩱☀️

Our 4th Annual Big Fat Pool Party is here, and we’ve got a brand-new location!

Join us on August 8 from 4:00–7:00 PM at the Valley Aquatic Centre in Rosthern, SK (approximately 50 minutes northeast of Saskatoon). We’ve rented the entire pool just for us!

Pool access is from 4:45–6:15 PM, but come early to enjoy a picnic in the park and grab a treat from the famous Little Bean Ice Cream before we hit the water!

We’ll also be offering a beginner-friendly Aquafit class led by instructor Elsa from 5:30–6:00 PM. Participation is completely optional!

This event has become one of our favourite traditions—a chance for folks to come together in a judgment-free space, enjoy the water, and experience the joy of swimming without worrying about being watched or judged.

A few years ago, The Curvy Club was just an idea born from wanting people to feel like they belonged. Earlier this year, The Thick n Thrift opened its doors with a dream of making plus size fashion more accessible.

To now see both recognized by this community is something I don’t take for granted.

Thank you to every single person who voted, shopped, attended an event, donated clothing, shared a post, or simply believed in what we’re building. You are the reason these businesses continue to grow.

Hi friends!

I’ve had a few of you recently ask about or Babes on the Beach trip, and if there were any spots left. We were actually able to temporarily hold a few more spots in case we had some late signups!

These spots are extremely limited, but this is truly a trip of a lifetime.

Our Babes on the Beach trip countdown is on and we’re heading to Cancun in January 2027 ☀️🌴

If you’ve been watching from the sidelines, thinking “that looks so fun but I don’t know anyone…” — that’s literally how almost everyone starts.

These trips are for:
✨ making new friendships
✨ getting out of your comfort zone
✨ having something exciting to look forward to
✨ and just experiencing life a little more

It’s such a good mix of relaxation, fun, and connection with other amazing women.

We only have room for a couple more girls to join us — once those spots are gone, that’s it.

Happy Easter, babes 🐣💐

I hope your day is filled with joy, connection, and yes… ALL the chocolate, treats, and foods that make holidays feel special. You are allowed to enjoy it all — fully, freely, and without guilt. 🤍

You do not need to “earn” your food today.
You do not need to “make up for it” tomorrow.
And you definitely do not owe anyone an explanation for what’s on your plate.

And let this be your reminder:
we do not tolerate comments about our bodies or our food choices — not today, not ever. If someone brings that energy, you are allowed to set a boundary, change the subject, or simply remove yourself. Your peace matters more than their opinion.

Today is about celebrating, not shrinking.
Taking up space, not second-guessing yourself.
And enjoying the moment exactly as you are. 💕

You are worthy of the joy, the treats, the laughter — all of it.

International Women’s Day feels especially powerful in spaces like this.

Because so many women grew up believing their worth was tied to their size.

That they had to shrink before they could live fully.

But here in The Curvy Club, we’re rewriting that story.

You don’t have to lose weight to deserve joy.
You don’t have to change your body to take up space.
You don’t have to wait to live your life.

Your body is not the problem.
The world just needs more spaces that celebrate it.

Happy International Women’s Day to every woman learning to love herself a little louder. 💜
