The event brings together board gamers of all ages and interests for 24 hours of casual board gaming. PwYF, in partnership with Carmichael Outreach, is changing the face of food insecurity, poverty, and homelessness in Regina, Saskatchewan. PwYF is a community-based board game fundraising campaign. Through micro-fundraising events throughout the year, teams raise money for Carmichael Outreach while having a ton of fun along the way. Teams that raise more than their minimum fundraising commitment are eligible to attend a 24-hour board game celebratory event to mark the end of this year's campaign. History:
After a covid break, PwYF set a goal to raise $15,000 in 2022/23 and, instead, raised more than $45,000!! This year, in the 2023/24 campaign, PwYF is hoping to raise $40,000! Interested in helping us reach this goal? Here's how to get involved:
1. Register and raise money as a team.
2. Donate prizes to incentivize our fundraising efforts and support team events.
3. Write us a cheque to help us secure a venue, food, and logistics sponsorship for our 24-hour event in March 2024. If you have any questions or would like to get involved, we'd love to hear from you and can be reached at [email protected].
