🌈 PRIDE IN THE PARK 2026 🌈

Prince Albert Pride and Studio Q - Prism Project are excited to welcome community back to the Parade and Pride in the Park on June 6 for an afternoon full of celebration, connection, creativity, and incredible local and Saskatchewan talent!

Things kick off at the Court of King’s Bench in Prince Albert at 10:30 AM to lineup for the parade. At 11:00 AM there will be community speeches, and at 11:15 AM the parade will leave the courthouse and make its way to Kinsmen Park!

This year, we put out a call for performers to help build a lineup that reflects the diversity, creativity, and energy of our communities. From alt-rock and punk to spoken word, drag, comedy, and emerging youth performers, this year’s stage is packed with talent and is sure to be an unforgettable afternoon of celebration, creativity, and pride...all hosted by Craig Gordon Comedy!

Studio Q welcomed the brilliant and talented for a Cyanotype Workshop. Many thanks to for sharing this opportunity with . Participants were supported through the process of preparing the solution and paper and created 2 individual photograms and a beautiful collective piece representing the work of the Prism Project. The conversation reinforced our interconnection to all things and what we can learn from the land if we nurture our relationship with it. Looking forward to continuing to explore this medium as a means of expressing our perspectives of our relationships, stories, and reimagined futures.

Selwyn is in the house! This song was penned by her, inspired by struggles with mental health and depression, and it is about "feeling like you have to hide your true self from everyone else." Turn that frown upside down... 😊 featuring Big Tones

Grateful for the opportunity to help lead a workshop today with staff, faculty, researchers, and students at the University of Regina in partnership with the Office of the Vice President of Research, the Faculty of Social Work, and the Social Work Research Centre.

Thankful for the relationships and ongoing work that made this possible, and to everyone who joined us to explore more meaningful engagement with 2SLGBTQIA+ communities and participants. Together, we brought community perspectives into the conversation to challenge colonial norms and practices that have become normalized within institutions and systems.
