Looking to Build Your Skills for a New Career? We May Be Able to Help!

Did you know that funding may be available to help eligible clients access training and certifications that can move them closer to employment?

Through our employment services, training packages may be fully funded for eligible individuals who are ready to take the next step toward a new career.

Training opportunities may include:
👥 Human Services – Training for opportunities in support work, caregiving, child/youth programs and related fields.
👷 Construction Safety – Certifications and safety training to help prepare you for work on construction sites.
🍴 Food Service – Training for opportunities in restaurants, catering, hospitality and food service.
🛡️ Security Guard Training – Helping you gain the required training to pursue opportunities in security and safety services.
🚗 6 & 6 Driver Training – Includes 6 hours of classroom instruction and 6 hours of in-car driving lessons to help individuals work toward obtaining their driver’s licence.
Have a job opportunity within reach, but still need your driver’s licence? If obtaining your licence is the main thing standing between you and employment, funding for 6 & 6 Driver Training may be available to help you move forward.

Interested in learning more? Let’s talk!

All training packages require pre-approval through an appointment with one of our Vocational Counsellors. We’ll talk about your employment goals, explore the training that could help you move forward, and determine whether funding may be available to support your next step.

Okay, time to brag about yourself a little! 😄

What’s ONE thing you’re really good at?

Maybe you’re great at fixing things, talking to people, staying organized, cooking, working with your hands, solving problems, technology—or something completely different.

Sometimes the things that come naturally to us are the very skills we overlook. And those strengths can be more valuable in the workplace than you might realize.

👇 Drop your answer in the comments—we want to hear it!

And if you’re having a hard time identifying your strengths or figuring out how they could connect to employment, that’s something we can help with. Our Vocational Counsellors offer one-on-one support based on where you’re at and what you need.

Or, if you prefer a program setting, ECB 2.0 may be a great fit!

🎉 No need to wait for the next program intake—you could start as early as Monday! ECB 2.0 offers flexible, participant-centred employment support that meets you where you’re at and helps you move toward your employment goals.

📞 Ready to get started? Give us a call at 306-953-4460 to connect with a Vocational Counsellor.

The second class of In Motion & Momentum+ (IM&M+) successfully completed their group project last week!

In just five days, participants planned and delivered a fun, engaging activity for Elders, featuring an icebreaker, a Headbanz game, and a special gift presentation.

We are proud of the teamwork and creativity demonstrated by the group. Their project fostered meaningful connections, and one Elder shared, “It was a happy and fun get-together!”

Congratulations to everyone involved on a job well done and a special thanks to the Elders for the good time and laughs we shared with them.
