The Unitarian Fellowship of Peterborough hosted our Grounded In Love Event yesterday with great success. A huge thank-you goes out to all the volunteers that made this event perfect. We had food, music, and fun activities. Our Lay Chaplain, Stephanie Wildheart, provided many meaningful ceremonies and blessings. We could not have asked for better weather to celebrate the fall together!

Sunday, October 25, 2026 from 1-3 pm at the Traill College Jaylynn Bennett Amphitheatre, 315 Dublin Street, Peterborough.

Grounded in Love is a welcoming, multigenerational fall gathering celebrating the many ways courage and love show up in our lives, in relationships, families, friendships, community, and in the courage to be ourselves.

The afternoon will combine music, interactive experiences, children’s activities, meaningful ceremonies, fall refreshments, and community connection.

Stephanie Wildheart, our Lay Chaplain, will be offering many different types of ceremonies throughout our time together. Ceremonies being offered are naming, vows renewals, commitment, family, community, glitter blessings, etc. If you and your partner would like to become legally married during this time, that can be arranged too! Yesterday, in our Children’s Program, our guest speaker, Colin Read read to us Milo and the Magical Stones. We then played with our version of Milo throughout the rest of the program through obstacle courses, building kinetic sand and playdough mountains and stones and then decorating our own courage stones to take home.
