Canopy Support Services These are Monday – Friday from 8:30am to 4:30pm except for holidays observed within Ontario.

A Centre of Excellence that provides specialized services and supports to people with intellectual and developmental disabilities, autism, and FASD to enhance their quality of life across their lifespan. What better way to wrap up an incredible summer than by looking back at the fun, laughter, smiles, and memories we made together! πŸ’™

This summer, we had an amazing time hosting our MEGA Foundationals events!

🌞 Sunshine & Smiles kicked things off on July 22 with our littlest friends, ages 5 & under. There were plenty of smiles, sunshine, and fun to go around!

πŸŽ‰ On July 29, our 6–12 year old crew joined us for an afternoon packed with activities, laughter, and BIG summer fun!

πŸ’¦ And we wrapped up the summer with our Summer Splash Teen Summer Bash on August 20! Our teens, ages 13–17 brought the energy and helped us end the season with a splash!

From little smiles to big celebrations, it has been such a joy spending the summer with our amazing families and creating spaces where everyone can have fun, connect, and just be themselves. πŸ’™

Stronger Together: Urgent Response Services (URS)

We’re proud to work alongside our community partners to deliver Urgent Response Services (URS) throughout Haliburton County, Kawartha Lakes, Peterborough County, and Northumberland County (HKPR).

Led by Resources for Exceptional Children and Youth, URS is a time-limited, rapid-response service that addresses a single challenging behaviour, helps prevent further escalation, and supports stabilization when a child or youth is at risk of harming themselves, others, or property.

This important work is made possible through Canopy’s collaboration with local service providers, including Kinark Child and Family Services, Five Counties Children's Centre, and Dnaagdawenmag Binnoojiiyag Child & Family ServicesπŸ’™

At Canopy, we’re proud to contribute to this collaborative approach. In the 2025–2026 fiscal year, our Canopy URS team:

✨ Delivered 5,695 service hours
