Canopy Support Services These are Monday – Friday from 8:30am to 4:30pm except for holidays observed within Ontario.

A Centre of Excellence that provides specialized services and supports to people with intellectual and developmental disabilities, autism, and FASD to enhance their quality of life across their lifespan. This is a great opportunity for teens (ages 12–17) with ASD to connect, play games, enjoy snacks, and spend time with peers in a supportive and welcoming environment. 💙

Participants will have the chance to practice social skills, build friendships, and just hang out while enjoying a variety of games and activities.

Get ready to make waves! 🌊 Join Canopy Support Services for our 4th Annual Prom on Friday, June 5th, 2026 from 6:00–8:00 PM 💫

This year’s theme—Under the Sea 🐠—invites teens ages 13–17 to dive into a fun, sensory-friendly evening filled with music, connection, and celebration in a welcoming and inclusive space.

✨ Tomorrow we will wrap up an amazing run of Growing Up My Way: A Wellness & Safety Program in Partnership with Community Living Trent Highlands ✨

Over the past few weeks, we had the opportunity to support youth in building important life skills around puberty, boundaries, consent, and personal safety — all in a space that was supportive, respectful, and age-appropriate 💬

We saw growth in confidence, communication, and understanding as participants explored topics like:
• Emotional and physical changes
• Public vs. private behaviours
• Consent and healthy boundaries
• Online safety and recognizing risky situations
• Self-care and asking for help

At the same time, caregivers were learning alongside them — building tools to keep conversations open, supportive, and ongoing at home 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦

Programs like this remind us how important it is to create safe spaces for learning, growth, and connection. We’re so proud of everyone who participated and are grateful to have been part of their journey 🌱
