Thank you to everyone who joined us this morning for our PDCA Breakfast Meeting at the Lions Club! ☕🍳🏗️

We were pleased to welcome our guest speakers, Darryl Julott (Director of Economic Planning) and, Brad Appleby (Director of Planning, Development, and Urban Design) for the City of Peterborough.

Darryl and Brad shared important updates and insights on planning, development, and economic growth in our community, followed by a great discussion and Q&A with our members.

A big thank you as well to all of our members for your continued support and participation. We appreciate everyone who took the time to attend and help make the morning such a success! 🤝

Our attendees received an AI primer and learned how this powerful tool is being used in the construction industry to deliver better results. 🏗️✨

Happy Women in Construction Week! 🛠️✨

There is no better time than Women in Construction Week (March 1–7) to celebrate the official launch of the Peterborough Women in Trades committee! This new initiative is a proud collaboration between PKHBA and PDCA, and we are so excited to see it take flight.

The committee recently held its first meeting with a clear and vital mission: to empower, connect, and support women throughout the construction industry. To celebrate this milestone, there is a casual kickoff social happening soon, and everyone is invited to help us build this community.

Whether you are working in the trades, the broader industry, or are a supportive member of the community, please join us to celebrate the launch and meet the team.
